The Wanneroo War Memorial was unveiled on the 3rd September 1921 by Mr. H.P Colebatch, Minister for Education in front of the local Post Office on Wanneroo Road which has since been widened to a dual carriageway.The memorial has been re-erected in the new memorial precinct in Sinagra Street near the Council Chambers.
