Alex's grave is in the Lower Hill Cemetery, toward the western edge, near the centre of the cemetery. The cemetery's northwest corner is just southwest of the West 8th Street and Sheep Gulch Road intersection, west of the courthouse.
The headstone is about 3.5 feet tall, generally obelisk in shape with an urn atop. The sides are made to emulate rough hewn stone. The family name McIntyre is embossed in the base.
