The small and apparently recently planted tree has a plaque that reads:
"Fridartre
Grodursett 20, Juni, 2013
Fridarstund getur og mun bjarga heiminum
-Sri Chinmoy
(stofnandi Fridarhlaupsins)
which Google translates as:
"Fridartre
Planted 20, June, 2013
A moment of peace can and will save the world
Sri Chinmoy
(founder of the Run)"
The first word is apparently untranslatable...at least by Google.
