Text on plaque:
Fisher Meadow
Dr. J.W. Fisher laid clam to land in the 1889
Oklahoma run. His allotment led to the purchase
of these acres by his son Roy Fisher in 1941.
The ten acre lake was dug using mule teams.
The lake and the overlooking meadow of bluestem
grass became a sanctuary for wildlife.
Mildred Fisher Hall built this home in 1960.
It was a gathering place for five generations
of friends and family.
