This Massey Harris is missing the side hoods which hold the model name/number, so all we know is that it is either a
20, a
21 "Colt", or a
22. The 21 was the same as the 20 with only updated sheet metal, while the 22 had a larger engine. All engines were Continentals, 2 Liter in the 20 and 21, 2.3 Liter in the 22. Power remained the same, though, at about 31 HP at the belt.
The 20 was made from 1946 to 1948, the 21 was made in 1952 and 1953 and the 22 from 1948 to 1953. All had belt drives, 540 RPM PTO, four speed transmission and three point hitch.
The museum is on Round Butte Road at the corner of 6th Avenue NW. on the west edge of the town of Ronan, MT.
