Bird Mountain - Vik, Iceland - Simulacra on Waymarking.com

During a tour of the southern peninsular of Iceland, a tour guide pointed out to the poster of this Waymark that a bird formation that could be seen on the mountain. And indeed, one can imagine the bed's head in the center with the mountain's two ridges on either side appearing to be outstretched wings. The guide was not aware of the name for the mountain and indicated that she and her family always just called it "Bird Mountain."
The mountain can be seen on Iceland's Ring Road just before entering the town of Vik.
