The Garden of the Rockies Museum in Ronan has a bunch of cool old stuff outside, including several pieces of old farm machinery, of which this old double gang disc is one.

Manufacturer and date of manufacture of this disc are unknown. It has weigh boxes both fore and aft and no wheels. Without wheels one has no way of raising the discs, so one would be unwise to be found dragging it down a road. With the tractors available at the time of this disc's manufacture one might be able to disc 20 acres or so in a day. As is the case with much of the equipment at this museum, this disc is in pretty rough shape.

The museum is on Round Butte Road at the corner of 6th Avenue NW. on the west edge of the town of Ronan, MT.
