Powered by a Wisconsin V4 engine, this is a rusted out New Holland Model 77 Baler. New in the early 1950s they cost about $2500.00. One could also purchase a PTO driven model which cost a little less.
New Holland developed the first self-tying pick-up baler in 1940. Their balers have remained leaders in the industry from that time.
The museum is on Round Butte Road at the corner of 6th Avenue NW. on the west edge of the town of Ronan, MT.
