Olsen Pioneer Park Windmill - Kalispell, MT - Windmills on Waymarking.com

Get to Olsen Pioneer Park by heading east from Highway 2 on Pioneer Road at the north end of the Kalispell Airport for about a mile, then south on Helena Flats Road, at which time you'll see the park on your right.

The windmill, probably moved to the park from a nearby farm, like the farm implements and tractors on the park, is pretty easy to spot at the eastern edge of the machinery display area. It's an old Aermotor, once a very common sight wherever there were farms.

Still in business and making windmills, Aermotor was established in 1888 and went on to become the world leader in windmill manufacture.
