Efrona Davis is washed up on a beach. Efrona is an entertainer at a holiday camp and ws hoping to break into the entertainment industry. The ageing camp compere comes under suspicion, as does Efrona’s religious father and her agent. In the end the case becomes linked with a diamond robbery. The holiday camp was connected with the robbery and Efrona had accidently stumbled across the fact and was killed to keep quiet.
