NYS historical Marker erexted by the town of Dickinson denoting the location of the first court held in Old Chenango Village.
It was an open-air court, with a traveling magistratate, held under the American Elm trees.
The trees were replanted in 1976 as part of the US Bicentennial project.
The marker is located on Old Front Street across from the Super 8.
