Built from 1939 - 1947,
the "A" was a Row-Crop tractor with a 1.9 Litre International Harvester gasoline or kerosene engine that produced over 16 HP at the drawbar and 18 at the belt. It was coupled to a transmission with four forward and one reverse gear. This one is one of several tractors under an octagonal gazebo near the north end of the display area.
Each year in early September the Northwest Montana Antique Power Association holds an Annual Threshing Bee.
This event features steam threshing, steam plowing, antique tractors and engines, daily Parade of Power, shingle making, miniature steam train rides, running sawmill, music and entertainment. Lunch available and handicap transportation on grounds. Pets allowed in camping area only.
