County of lion: St. Louis Independent City
Location of lion: 1701 Jefferson Ave., Barr Branch Public Library
Lion erected: 1905

Not much to say about the lion, except it is on the side rails of the main entrance to this library branch.
The Barr Branch was built in 1905, with land donated by the William Barr and funded by Andrew Carnegie.
AND the lion has a very silly expression on its face
