Description of Memorial:
The memorial resides on a grassy knoll in front of the high school and is a really nice spot to put a monument since it grabs ones attention with the nearby flagpoles that stand tall, inviting visitors to come an take a closer look. I was a little surprised that this monument is behind an iron fence since it can't be touched or interacted with but only viewed behind metal bars. I always appreciate a community who specifically goes out of their way to memorialize those individuals many decades later via a monument such as this for others to see and appreciate.
