When the monument was erected in 1990, there were 3000 names. Another 55 names were added in 1997 and 250 more names were added in 2013. The base of the monument is a black marble Star of David. Seven six-foot tall marble slabs are on half of the points of the Star of David. The names of concentration camps are engraved in the exposed sections of the base. The 3300 plus names are engraved on the outside of the marble slabs.

The Holocaust
Between 1933 - 1945 Nazi Germany,
with the help of collaborators
in occupied Europe, murdered
millions of men, women and
children.
Some were killed because of
their nationality, politics,
religion, sexual preference,
or handicap. Others were
outsiders, distrusted
and despised.
One people - the Jewish people
were killed because they were
Jews.
All of this took place in the
twentieth century and the
world remained silent.
May the memory of their lives
serve as a blessing - and as
a warning.
