The Tobacco Valley Cemetery is a large community Cemetery located in Lincoln County. There are approximately 2,650 gravesites. The Tobacco Valley Cemetery was established in 1904. Prior named the Eureka Public Cemetery until an expansion was necessary then both cemeteries were combined.
There are three famous people interred in the Tobacco Valley cemetery:
John McIntire was born June 27, 1907 and died January 30, 1991
He played Christopher Hale on "Wagon Train" from 1961-1965.
He also appeared in the motion pictures "Call Northside 777" and "Winchester '73," among many others. His son was actor Tim McIntire.
Tim McIntire was born July 19, 1944 and died April 15, 1986
He was an American motion picture actor and composer of the 1960s, 70s, and 80s. He appeared in the films "American Hot Wax" (1978), "The Choirboys" (1977), and "Brubaker" (1980), among many others. He composed music for the film "Jeramiah Johnson" (1972). He was the son of actors John McIntire and Jeanette Nolan.

Jeanette Nolan was born December 30, 1911and died June 5, 1998
She appeared in the Western television series "The Virginian" and was married to actor John McIntire and the mother of actor Tim McIntire.
The first interments were W. L. Henderson, his birth is unknown and died March 12, 1904 and A. P. Johnson, his birth is unknown and died January 10, 1904.
The last recorded interment is most likely Edith Elaine "Edee" Truman Neumann who was born May 31, 1952 and died May 28, 2014.
