This bronze work depicts a life-sized man, about 30 years old, sitting on a block, arms at his side stretched as in a gesture of communicating confusion. It can not go unremarked that the figure's phallus is hard and not natural looking - especially in this pose.
The piece was created in 1955 by renowned Icelandic sculptor Olof Palsdottir, one of the Iceland's preeminent female artists.
