In Arlington, where Massachusetts Avenue meets Broadway, is this honor roll for all men and women of Arlington who served in a war.
The memorial is located in the narrow strip of land between the two roads, and is just northwest of the firestation.
The memorial is a low structure, partly made of brick, and with panels on all sides. The roof is flat, though there is an ornamental peak on one side. In the glass panels are printed sheets of text.
There is a panel about the memorial at one end. The rest are lists of people, arranged by war. Those who died during the conflict have a star next to the name.
Panel 1 at the end has the following:

This Honor Roll lists the names of 'Arlington credited' men and women who served in the US Armed Services during wartime.
The asterisk (*) indicates those who died in service of their country.
