On Schoolhouse Road, this station is pretty much centered in what there is of Naples. When we visited, the chief was in and invited us in to look at his toys. They consist of a command vehicle/EMT vehicle, which was out at the time, a Louisville L9000 tandem pumper tender and a Ferrara Intruder pumper that they bought from another department in the southeast (can't remember which state) and drove back to Naples. It's painted T-Bird Blue and white. They had intended to repaint it a more fire-truck-like color, but everyone who saw it loved the paint, so they left it alone. It has a Smurf on either side, as well.

The district has roster of 24 firefighters, drivers and support staff, as well as the chief, who is a paid member. Of the force, eleven members are assigned to this station.

The complete equipment lineup is as follows:
  • Support-1 — High top Ford van
  • Ambulance Unit-3 — Ford 350 Ambulance
  • Command-600 — Ford club cab half ton
  • Command-601 — Chevy Suburban three quarter ton
  • Structural Engine-651 — The Smurf - Ferrara Intruder pumper
  • Structural Engine-652 — Louisville 9000 Single axle pumper
  • Urban Interface Engine-653 — Amertek single axle pumper
  • Wildland Engine-661 — Ford 350 one ton brush truck
  • Tactical Water Tender-671 - Louisville 9000 tandem axle pumper tender
  • Tactical Water Tender-672 — Ex-Army 4X4 tandem axle pumper tender
  • Tactical Water Tender-673 — International single axle pumper tender - ex fuel delivery truck
Breaking News: (June, 2014)
The district just received a new (to them) ladder truck, a single axle unit, donated by the Teton County Fire District.
Naples Station #1 is located at 20 Stagecoach Rd. in Naples, ID This station is our main business office for the District along with being the original station. The Firefighters and community supplied almost all of the labor to transform our 1,000 square foot two bay station into approx. 4,000 square foot station with offices, shop, storage facilities, a single Firefighter living quarters, 4 bays for apparatus and a community/training room.

The original portion of the station was converted to our training/ community room. This room offers the district a place to conduct classroom training, board meetings, and is also available to residents of the community to book for events.

This station is also set up with a standby generator so it can be used as a Command Post, Emergency Operations Center, or a Joint Information Center if needed in the event of a major emergency in our community.
