This building has a rich musical and motion picture history, but it is best known as one of two places where blues legend Robert Johnson recorded some of his material. In fact, one of the few known photographs of Johnson looks out through an upstairs window. Visitors to the nearby House of Blues can spot several references to Johnson and this building while they enjoy a concert. Check in with the 508 Park Project at the provided link to follow their progress with regards to restoration.
