Hiskett Farm - Minco, OK - Century Farms on Waymarking.com

The Hiskett Farm is located on the north side of CR 1180, approximately three miles west of the town of Minco.

The only reference we could find to the Hiskett Family, is Mary Alice Dunlap Hiskett, born 11/16/11 who married A. L. "Pike" Hiskett on 11/1/1930 and "moved to the Hiskett Farm". There are twelve Hiskett family members buried in Minco's Evergreen Cemetery, the oldest being Johannah Hiskett, b.1860 d.1906.

To qualify as a Century Farm in Oklahoma, the family must have occupied their land for at least 100 years, and the land must be a working farm or ranch of at least 40 acres, generate at least $1,000 in annual sales, and be operated by or lived on by a family member, or be leased out by a family member over age sixty-five.
