Along Highway 93 in Lake County, little Rollins is not much more than a fire station, a post office and a caboose. The caboose, history unknown, is on display at the Rollins Post Office/Country Store, just up the road from the fire hall.

The fire hall appears to be a relatively new one. Relatively large (for a vanishingly small community), the fire hall has three large overhead doors and is manned by 18 firefighters and 6 non firefighting members, all volunteer.
The community is about in the centre of the west side of Flathead Lake, the largest natural freshwater lake west of the Mississippi River.
