[GER] Im Gegensatz zum Gewichtsanker (Stockanker) hält der Patentanker ein Fahrzeug mit den beiden beweglichen Flunken fest, die sich in den Meeresboden eingraben. Eine lange am Boden liegende Ankerkette gewährleistet hierfür waagerechten zug. Patentanker sind stocklose Anker, die Gefahr des Unklarkommens der Kette im Ankerstock ist nicht gegeben. Auch lassen sich Patentanker in die Ankerklüse einziehen. Der Anker bezieht seinen Namen auf ein Patent von 1852.
[ENG] In contrast to weight anchor (Stockanchor) holds the patentanchor a vehicle with two moveable flukes that dig into the seabed. A long lying on the ground ensures this horizontal train. The anchor refers his name on a patent from 1852.
