Neil is going to marry Sophie. On his stag night his mates, Nigel and Donald, spike his drinks. They put him, unconscious and trouserless, onto a train with a stripper called Pandora. Unfortunately Nigel and Donald’s prank goes wrong when the train doesn’t stop where Nigel and Donald expect it to. When Neil comes round he gets off the train with Pandora at Scarborough.

Pandora leaves Neil to wait for his friends, but they have given up on him. Her wanders around town trying to get some cash to ring friends, and eventually collapses on the beach. Pandora finds him and brings him round. She tells him that her real name is Julie and lends him money to ring Sophie. Unfortunately Sophie’s grandmother takes the call and blocks the line.

Julie tells Neil that she can get him some money for his train, but that he will have to wait until 6:30 and then see her at the Lighthouse Inn. Neil meanwhile finds Nigel’s credit card and decides to buy a train ticket with it. Unfortunately the last train is 6:25. He decides to track down Julie before 6:30 and finds her at the Lighthouse Inn doing a striptease act to the tune of Dancing Queen. Julie is quite angry and asks Neil what time his train is. He tells her he has already missed it because he wanted to see her. They have dinner and dance the night away.

The next day Neil goes back to an angry Sophie. He realises he doesn’t love Sophie and returns to Scarborough. He finds Julie still dancing at the place they danced the night before. Neil and Julie leave for Venice.
