Cenote Ake is located a remote dead-end road less than 10 minutes from the ancient Mayan ruins, also known as Ake.

There are numerous butterflies and Toh birds living in and around this cenote. There are no manmade stairs down the cenote, however there are indentations in the rocks that makes access for swimming fairly easy.
