Located in front of the entry doors to REI, retail chain for outdoor and recreational enthusiasts is a brass control station, custom-made by REI, and embedded flush with the concrete sidewalk. The disk contains the elevation stamping of '3605.71 FT' and the date 'November 18, 2005'. This station doesn't appear in the NGS database. My posted coordinates will place you very close to this station.
