The old two storey brick and tile bank building was built along the Federation Free Classical Style , it is now occupied by 'Directions' (which appears to be a Training organisation). The building was constructed for the Union Bank (ANZ's predessor) in 1906 and remained a bank until 2006 (the night deposit box is still there) when a new ANZ Bank opened in the main shopping centre.
