The town of Drummond lies beside I90 in Granite County, just under 50 miles south of Missoula and 30 some miles north of Deer Lodge. Their fire hall is near the south side of town on Front Street.

Staffed by 24 volunteer firefighters and 4 non firefighting volunteers, this department is housed in a pair of buildings, one of which was donated by the Flint Creek Valley Bank of Drummond. We suspect it may once have been a bank. Adjoining is a newer building with two overhead doors, the other half of the fire department. The department seems to have 3 pieces of fire fighting equipment at their disposal.

Nest to the fire station are on display an old wagon and two water tanks that were used by the fire department in days of yore.
