Der heutige Haupteingang zum Landschaftsgarten in Kühnau wird vom sogenannten Rittertor gebildet, welches sich in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft des Weinbergs befindet. Das Tor wird flankiert von zwei Sandsteinskulpturgruppen. Die eine Gruppe stellt Theseus und Ariadne, die andere Venus und Mars dar. Beide wurden von italienischen Bildhauer Matielli gefertigt und standen ursprünglich im Dresdner Stadtpark der polnischen Gräfin Mosczinska. Sie wurden 1818 von Herzog Leopold Friedrich für die Kühnauer Anlagen erworben, wo sie sich auch heute noch befinden.
The present main entrance to the landscaped garden in Kühnau is formed by the so-called Rittertor, which is located in the immediate vicinity of the vineyard. The gate is flanked by two sandstone sculpture groups. One group represents Theseus and Ariadne, Venus and Mars represent those other two were made by Italian sculptor Matielli and were originally in Dresden's city park of the Polish Countess Mosczinska. They were acquired in 1818 by Duke Leopold Friedrich for Kühnauer plants, where they still are.
