The Pocasset United Methodist Church stands at 113 Adams Street in this rural town of about 200 residents. The current building was constructed in 1949 and is located just north of the bell.
The bell is a small one, painted yellow and mounted on its halo atop a four-legged metal structure. The bell is about ten feet off the ground. According to the building's cornerstone, the original church at this location was built in 1907, the year of Oklahoma Statehood, and we assume this bell dates back to that year.
