This Public Land Survey Mark is on the corner of Highway 52 and Hawthorne Road, six miles west of Mitchell, Manitoba.

It's 30 meters south of Hwy 52 and 12 meters west of the Hawthorne Road. This is on the north edge of Section 31 & 32, Township 6, Range 5 East. The north side of Hwy 52 would be Township 7, Range 5 East but their section corner is about 430 meters east because this is a correction line. Check Dominion Land Survey (

It also has "WT 0.227N" stamped on it. This stamping may be about an offset since Highway 52 is wider than the standard 20 meter road allowance.
