Music blends sweetly with vignettes of gardens and farming in this mural painted by Mary Therese Peterson and members of the community. The painting is on the parking lot side of Harmony Foods on Third Street NW in Bemidji. Scenes include native people ricing from a canoe, a gardener hoeing a vegetable garden, and a man with a wheelbarrow in a field of flowers, all interspersed with musicians with guitars, flutes, and violins. Dancers join the happy group as well as a family on the lakeshore skipping stones.
