This striking red bull sculpture is familiar to anyone driving on Folsom Boulevard near Highway 50 in Folsom, California. It is located near 13385 Folsom Boulevard in the Red Bull Center.
The sculpture is made of thick metal sheets buttressed by cut-outs at 90-degrees to give it a 3-dimensional effect.
The art work is in front of the Dos Coyotes Border Cafe, but the red bull theme comes from the name of the shopping center.
The head of the bull is movable, but the wind is not nearly strong enough to cause this effect. One has to stand on the rock wall mounting and manually move it to see the effect. The art work is approximately 8 feet tall and 8 feet wide. There is no title or artist indicated. Locals simply refer to it as the "Red Bull."
