Freight Depot - Chickasha, OK - Train Stations/Depots on Waymarking.com

West of the Rock Island passenger depot on the east side of Chickasha, is this two-story brick freight depot. The building is basically square, with office space on the second floor and freight space on the ground floor.

The South (front), East and West sides of the building have three bays, separated horizontally and vertically by wide concrete pilasters, and topped with a concrete cornice and short brick wall at the roof line. On these sides, the upper level has a pair of one-over-one windows in each bay. On the ground floor (east and west), there are small windows set high in each of two bays, with the third bay containing a freight door. The main entrance on the south has a single door with a small concrete canopy and coach lights. The north side has two bays with single windows on the upper floor and no windows on the first level.

A large concrete pad has recently later been constructed at the north, with a shallow gable roof and no walls. It could not be determined if the building is in use at this time. The building is in excellent condition.
