In Watertown, within Mt. Auburn Cemetery, is this mausoleum for the Bradley family.

The cemetery entrance is off Mt. Auburn Street, near the intersection with Belmont Street. From there go to the Stone Chapel/information center and get a map of Mt. Auburn Cemetery. This landmark is located on the east side of Halcyon Pond.

The mausoleum is a stone monument longer than wide and has a peaked roof, also made of stone. The corners are made of smooth stone while the wall stones are roughly hewn. On either side of the entrance is a pair of columns supporting a short porch roof. The entrance has a window. Inside, there is a space, with a stained glass window visible at the far end. On either side are the tombs of the Bradley family members. The names I could read are:

Samuel Prescott Bradley
Maria Gilbert Bradley
--- Bartlett Bradley

They lived mostly in the 1800s.

I could not find any specific information about the family.

Not sure the history. It is built within Mt. Auburn Cemetery, started in the early 1800s.
