On the roadside near the churchyard gate. It is marked with a plaque inside commemorating its repair by the County Council under a job creation scheme for the Parish Council in 1978.

An irregular oblong measuring 42 Ft x 21 Ft x 18 Ft. Two of the corners are rounded. Two abutting buildings.

The walls are constructed of limestone coursed block 15 Ins thick, with triangular stone coping. Height varies from 4Ft 10ins to 5 feet. One end wall appears to be a recent addition as it is not bonded into the other walls. It cuts off a small yard suggesting that the pinfold may have been reduced in length at some time.

There is no gate fitted the opening is 3'10" wide.

The floor is made of limestone flags and granite sets in good condition but with some weeds growing through.

The plaque reads “An18th century enclosure in which stray animals were impounded until their owners paid a fine for their release. Restored by the County Council under a job creation scheme in 1978. Cuckney Parish Council”
Approximate dimensions: 42 x 21 x 18ft
