Amazing tree, photos do not do it justice. Located about 200 feet left of the front entrance of the St. John Cathedral. Tree is entirely fenced off with numerous plaques. Tree appeared healthy and well maintained, as well as the grounds. According to plaque placed in 2011, tree was estimated at 500 years old. Average spread was 138 feet and height of 128 feet. Diameter is 9 feet with a whopping 28 foot 9 inch circumference. The largest "limb" is estimated to weigh 72 TONS. That is amazing. It is also listed as tree # 65 on the Live Oak registry.
