Minnesota Highway Department reference mark disk set in a concrete monument, flush with the ground. It is magnetic due to a steel rod.

The mark was set in 1976.

Although it has an NGS PID, the NGS database says, "No geodetic control." It is included in the Minnesota Department of Transportation database of geodetic stations.

It is in the southwest quadrant of section 26, Township 136 N, Range 29 W. This is in Sibley Township, just north of Nisswa, and the mark is close to the Paul Bunyan State Trail.

Coordinates are from my readings with consumer-grade GPS receiver (HH2).

Here is the to-reach section of the MnDOT database:

2.5 MILES SOUTH-SOUTHEAST OF PEQUOT LAKES, 2.65 MILES SOUTH ALONG TRUNK HIGHWAY 371 FROM JUNCTION OF TRUNK HIGHWAY 371 AND COUNTY ROAD 11 IN PEQUOT LAKES AT TRUNK HIGHWAY 371 MILEPOINT 49.2, THEN 0.3 MILE EAST ON OLSON ROAD, 48.4 FEET SOUTHWEST OF A STEEL WITNESS POST, 45.8 SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF STATION WARN MNDT, 40.0 FEET NORTH OF OLSON ROAD, 24.0 FEET EAST OF BIKE PATH, 1.0 FOOT WEST OF WITNESS POST.
