ST JOSEPH CATH CH NORTH SPIRE - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

Church spire monumented by CGS in 1927, but listed in the Minnesota Department of Transportation database as an "unpositioned" mark. Indeed, the listed coordinates were some 400 feet off. There is no designation of its horizontal order.

There are actually two spires in the MnDOT database, but they have the same coordinates, and the church has only one spire. There is no PID in the NGS database.

The church building was consecrated in 1871. It is made of local fieldstone and granite blocks. The clock was installed in the bell tower in 1906. This church building is on the National Register of Historic Places.

The actual mark would be the cross on top of the spire.
