Located within Sparks Memorial Park are numerous memorials dedicated to Veterans of various wars and memorials dedicated to law enforcement and firefighters. One particular memorial stands next to a Korean War memorial and a Vietnam Veterans dedicated bench and is dedicated to a list of individuals who fought in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. There are two plaques that reside on a concrete monument. The top plaque reads:
LEST WE FORGET, SACRED TO THE MEMORY OF THESE MEN WHO DIED IN THE DEFENSE OF THEIR NATIVE LAND DURING WORLD WAR II, KOREA AND VIETNAM.

Description of Memorial: This war memorial is among a number of memorials and monuments dedicated to Veterans of Foreign Wars, Law Enforcement and Firefighters. There is a Police Memorial statue as well as a Firefighter Memorial and statue here. This Memorial Park was built in 1981. In 2008, the park went through a major renovation where the police and firefighter memorials were dedicated. They add an overall sense of community pride and respect for those who wear the uniform in various services to society.
