Ramsower Park is named for an American Hero, Irving B. Ramsower II, Lt. Col, USAF. A geocache in the park, "American Hero - Ramsower Park" (visit link) has a write up on his story.

Description of Memorial:
The monument is a five-foot tall slab of grey granite that has the text engraved on a scroll on the granite. It is in the middle of a gazebo with brick pillars and a tile roof. There are several granite benches in the gazebo.
