Youngwood Borough is a town of History, Heart and Home located approximately 45 minutes southeast of Pittsburgh. Youngwood is situated in Westmoreland County about 2 miles north of the New Stanton Turnpike Interchange. Youngwood was established in 1899 and incorporated in 1902. The community of Youngwood fits comfortably within 1.3 square miles.

This Building was completed in July 2013 and The new 6,000-square-foot brick building between South Sixth and Seventh streets is more energy efficient, more accessible for the 1,600-square-foot library, and more accommodating with a community room for meetings. The cost of the new building is $950,000.
