Törten in Dessau.
Hier
starten auch die täglichenArchitekturführungen durch
die Siedlung.

The stamp shows the consumption in the settlement
Törten in Dessau.
It was by Lothar Grünewald and came on 27 May 1980 in
circulation.
Further information on the subject:
The resulting 1928 after a design by Walter Gropius consumption
building was due to its location, its height, but also by its function
as a center of Törtener settlement.
The two structures - flat and five-storey house - act like telescoped.
Your proportions are matched extremely elegant one another. Unlike the
settlement houses of the high building in plastered brickwork, the flat
was listed as a reinforced concrete structure. The bright paint
contrasts with the black balcony railings and window profiles.
The flat was intended for the sale facilities, the construction has on
the staff rooms can accommodate three three-bedroom apartments. In the
attic were as Community bodies, a laundry room, a drying room and a
roof terrace. The sale area could be divided into three areas by
folding walls.
The consumption buildings survived the Second World War completely
undamaged and was renovated in the 1990s. It now houses the central
information location of the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation for the
settlement Törten and a permanent exhibition on the idea and
vision, architectural history and residents. Start here also the daily
architekturführungen through the settlement.
