Official Description:
A fountain sculpture comprised of a heron or stork. The heron stands with its wings spread and head lifted upward. Water flows from the bird's mouth into a circular basin below.
The fountain was not running - likely due to the extended drought in the area.
Parking would be a challenge if the student body was present, but not during the summer term.

DIFFERENCES NOTED BETWEEN THE INVENTORY LISTING AND YOUR OBSERVATIONS AND RESEARCH: Some damage has been repaired over the years. Screwed and painted reinforcement of the wings. The gap in the base is an access port for the fountain pump, thus not damage.
