The George B. Rodney House at 16 East Third Street was built in 1831. The brick two-story, three-bay house is in a Federal style. The adjoining two-story two-bay brick wing was originally used as a law office. George B. Rodney was a member of Congress from 1841 to 1845.

The house appears to be in very good condition and continues to serve as a private residence.
