Located at the corner of Lake and E 2nd Streets in downtown Reno is a citizen memorial that is a date stone that makes up a stair approach to the front of the church cathedral and reads:

THIS STAIR APPROACH BUILT BY
MARGARET DALTON
IN LOVING MEMORY OF
HER HUSBAND
PETER DALTON
1925

The marker faces the copper entry doors to the cathedral and is very subtle and easily missed. I'm to assume this couple were prominent members of of the catholic church and are permanently memorialized here in these stairs.
