This is an ancient Roman cemetery, according to goole translate. The bodies here are now unidentified and unknown. There are no names nor markings on the headstones. It was established because Roman law forbade burials within a city. When a person died, their body would be buried below the street level. There are over 50 grave sites here, which is a very unusual place even underground for that many grave sites. This was made from the first to the third century, A.D.
