This triangulation disc is in Lakeview Cemetery in Sandpoint, right beside Lake Pend Oreille. The cemetery is at the south end of South Division Avenue, south off Highway 2.

DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1948 (ERM)
THE STATION IS ON NORTH SIDE OF PEND OREILLE RIVER ABOUT
1 MILE WEST OF NORTH END OF HIGHWAY BRIDGE ACROSS THE RIVER
AT SANDPOINT IN LAKEVIEW CEMETERY. TO REACH BY ROAD GO 1.0
MILES WEST ON U.S. HIGHWAY 10 FROM FARMIN BUILDING IN SANDPOINT
TO U.S. FOREST SERVICE OFFICE, THENCE 0.5 MILES SOUTHERLY
TO CEMETERY. THE STATION IS AT THE SOUTH END OF THE CEMETERY
ON TOP OF A BLUFF ABOUT 35 FT. ABOVE MEAN WINTER LAKE LEVEL
AND BEHIND A SMALL RED FRAME BUILDING. A 20 FT. TOWER WAS
USED AT THIS STATION.
