This is a fairly new fire rescue building constructed in 2009, replacing the old 1949 fire station at this location.
There are 5 bays at the new facility.
Currently the Evergreen Fire Rescue serves a population of about 9,000.
The District has 9 paramedics with 6 having critical care endorsements and they can provide an ambulance for standby at local events.
The Evergreen Fire Rescue responded to 2,005 calls in 2012: 1,427 for EMS and 578 fire related calls.
