CONFLUENCE - Guadalupe / Comal Rivers - River Origins, Destinations and Confluences on Waymarking.com

Access to this confluence is through private property, so get permission (or be floating down one of the tributaries). There is a 1968 Texas historical marker (visit link) at the below trailhead coordinates.

The short 2.5 mile spring-fed Comal River flows into the 230 mile long Guadalupe River which then reaches the Gulf of Mexico. Being chilled groundwater, the Comal is popular for floating - and supplies water to the old part of Schlitterbahn water park.
